Transformational Giving at Royal Papworth Hospital Charity

Transforming lives through extraordinary generosity

At Royal Papworth Hospital Charity, philanthropy plays a vital role in helping us go above and beyond what the NHS alone can provide. Through the generosity of individuals, families, and charitable foundations, we can fund pioneering research, purchase the latest equipment, support our staff and enhance patient care across the hospital.

Celebrating our philanthropic partners

We are proud to recognise a number of generous donors whose significant contributions have enabled major developments in patient care, research, and innovation.

Wendy J Tomlin-Hess

American philanthropists Wendy Tomlin-Hess and her late husband Robert Hess have donated £453,611 via DAFgiving360 in gratitude for Royal Papworth Hospital saving Wendy’s brother Terry’s life with a pioneering donation after circulatory death (DCD) heart transplant.
