Thanks to our supporters’ generous donations, we fund projects that offer more than a clinical benefit – they offer hope. Whether it is the reassurance of emotional or financial support, our work aims to support all those at Royal Papworth Hospital.

Projects that:

• create reflective spaces at the hospital.
• fund the role of a psychological wellbeing practitioner to support the wellbeing of our staff and patients.
• give hope to transplant patients by supporting them to attend the British Transplant Games.

Together with our fantastic fundraisers who raise money through a range of activities, we fund projects that transform the lives of Royal Papworth Hospital patients and staff.

Projects that:

• support research into the pioneering heart transplant technique – donation after circulatory death.
• that allow cystic fibrosis patients to take control of their condition outside of hospital.
• ensure staff reach their full potential by funding education and training opportunities.

Our next 30 years will be fuelled by our ambition to do more, reach further, and help Royal Papworth Hospital to continue to deliver world-leading care. We will do this by funding research, providing state of the art equipment, and inspiring the next generation of clinicians.

So far, we have:

• invested £3m into the research of innovative diagnosis tools and treatment taking place in the Clinical Research Facility.
• funded an Echo machine for the hospital’s Cath Lab.
• supported Royal Papworth’s Family and Friends Day, as part of the Cambridge Festival.
